Kathy Zimmerman – Photography
I have two main desires in life: to travel and to photograph. I am very happy doing one or the other. I’m in heaven when I’m doing them together. Since 1988 I have been photographing the sights, landscape and people across the U.S., Canada. Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba, India, Morocco and Europe. I love stepping foot in an unknown place, or perhaps a known place with a new perspective, and opening myself to its dynamics, its culture, people, capturing it all in photographs. I enjoy wandering around overlooked streets and finding little curiosities as much as photographing iconic landmarks. Nothing in my photographs is set up or staged. I want you to see exactly what I saw, felt and spoke to my soul.
